Daylight

Tao by the Old Mill Stream

If the end of daylight savings time gets you down, try taking a few moments to do some deep, slow breathing. Doing so will reset your nervous system and bring more energy deep into your body and spirit. It’s a good way to “regulate”, as we say in Qigong. You may want to do some Wave Breathing: inhale slowly and sequentially first into your abdomen, then ribs, then chest; reverse on the exhale. Do it as many times and as often as you need. It’s a great way to charge up your Qi as the days grow shorter.
