Phantom of the Internet

That @#$%&$ internet!!!

We had a true test of our energy-cultivating skills yesterday in class. The internet connection was awful, possibly due to heavy rains. The video went in and out, the sound was unstable, and when the video was working, I looked a bit like Lon Chaney in the original “Phantom of the Opera”. Despite it all, the class went on.

THIS is what “going with the flow means”. How do we deal with the vicissitudes and frustrations of life? I was impressed by everyone’s cool; your good attitudes helped me stay calm as the screen continued to flicker and freeze. This is group energy in action. “Life is ruled by invisible forces” as we say in Qigong, whether those forces are the internet, or our own ability to handle frustration. It’s a practice. It takes time, but it does get much easier. Thank you for hanging in there, and if you chose to leave, that’s fine, too. If you were there and would like a copy of the class to see what you may have missed, I’m happy to send it to you free of charge, due to the circumstances. Please email me if you’d like a copy to download. There’s a section in the middle without any image of me demonstrating, but it gets a bit better after that.
