Qigong Class Schedule: May 25 - 31, 2026

Rainy Day Going with the Flow

I hope you’re having a nice holiday weekend. Although the rain made this Memorial Day a challenging one for scheduled events, perhaps you’re using the weather to find new applications for the ever-challenging skill of “going with the flow”. Think of it this way: we always have the opportunity to choose what energy we want to cultivate. This choice is available to us everywhere, all the time, not only in Qigong class. With practice we learn to adapt with more ease and grace to whatever life brings our way, including uncertainty and the disappointment of cancelled plans.

Yes, we got rained out at Innisfree Gardens on Saturday. Happily, we have another chance to play Qigong there on June 21 when I’ll lead a Qigong class to celebrate the summer solstice. I hope you can join us! (Details below.)

Speaking of plans, this coming week our online Qigong class will be held only on Tuesday, May 26th. After that I will be away on my annual retreat in Vermont for a few days, returning to teach on Thursday, June 4th. If you’re jonesing for a Qigong class during this time, please take advantage of the classes I’ve posted on my YouTube channel. (Cris Caivano YouTube). I’ll post this past Sunday’s class on YouTube soon, so you can play with some of the new skills we’ve been practicing, including a simplified version of Tai Chi walking, and a flow that teaches how to rise above fear, worry, and maybe even the disappointment of cancelled plans. :~)

I look forward to cultivating more good energy with you on Tuesday. Meanwhile, enjoy the spring weather, whatever it is!
