New Year, New Start! Pre-order my New Book and for a Special Bonus
Truly: it is never too late for a new start. That is the message in my book "Strength Training, Staying Fit and Fabulous" which will be re-published January 18, 2018! Originally published in 2005, a young editor at Dover Publications found it at her Grandmother's house and thought it deserved to be re-published. (Thank you Nora Rawn!)
I wrote this book as a sort of primer, specifically focused on the timid or out- of- shape beginning level exerciser. More than 30 years as a teacher convinced me how (understandably) afraid of injury many people are, and I felt that that issue was not well served by other publications. So this book is replete with tips on how to do the exercises: the correct alignment, breathing, what and where to focus. I even convinced the original publisher to include anatomical diagrams of the muscles, to help readers get a clearer picture of what they were trying to do. The result is a book I am proud to share with you.
